Dear all, Today I'd love to translate this topic to English. This is about Thiet Moc Chan (TMC) - The true bird legend in Vietnam.

This bird was caught in 2000 at Ninh Tay - Ninh Hoa, Khanh Hoa (On the way to Ninh Hoa from Daklak at 96 kilometer marker on 26 Highway). It's first owner was Mr. Ti, who caught it in the forest also. This is a Deo bird (Deo bird is the bird caught in the pass - Deo means pass) and when it was caught, It was a young bulbul.
Couple months after that, its owner brought it to Ninh Hoa bird arena (At that time, it was just a little sidewalk drink store) and TMC displayed there. The store owner was broken a leg and he was using crutches. When TMC saw the man using crutches, he was really scared and feared that man. Many times like that, the man (the cripple) got mad and broke TMC's leg because of its fearness.
After that, TMC didn't display until the year after, Then its owner took it to the forest to catch the wild birds in forest. This area is forbiden catching wild bulbuls. TMC was put in the water bottle to hide the rangers. When its owner saw there were no rangers around, he took TMC out and started catching wild birds. TMC's song was long and loud that made lots of wild bulbuls came. Moreover, it's broken leg made wild birds feel curious and TMC caught many wild bulbuls. His owner made extra money by selling the birds TMC caught. It was crippled but not useless.

When they didn't go catching wild bulbuls. Mr. Ti took care of TMC really well. He chose the best ant eggs for TMC. They became real close friends.
Then they kept going to the forest to catch wild bulbuls and sometimes they came to the Ninh Hoa bird arena. TMC displayed all day over there, it's owner just sat there, ate sandwiches, instant noodles and watched TMC display all day and didn't wanna go anywhere. Ninh Tay, Ninh Hoa in 2000 just has forest, dust and it was really hot, The life was hard there, so Mr. Ti came back to his hometown - Nha Trang.
Mr. Ti gave up everything to come back Nha Trang and brought with him 2 bulbuls - TMC and another one as good as TMC. But in Nha Trang, TMC showed off all its ability. Day after day, TMC displayed better and better. The other bird is not as good as TMC, so Mr. Ti sold to Daklak.
Early 2005, TMC came back to Nha Trang, he like brought with him the wildness in forest. He displayed so well. People feel goosebump everytime he kekeke... People wanna sweat when they see its durableness. Many people knew TMC but everyone didn't wanna buy it because it's crippled, but it's onwer never think about selling TMC. He wanna keep TMC because it was his memory when he was poor and away his hometown.
Two men - Son Nui and Tu were two guys came to bird arena for long time - wait until Mr.Ti went to work. They gave Mr.Ti's wife 1 million VND and took TMC. Before that time, Son Nui had eaten and drunk with Mr.ti once. Then, The crippled bulbul becoming a Legend
